Contracts Manager - Port of Tacoma
CONTRACTS MANAGER - Port of Tacoma. Compensation: Starting salary range of $62,250-$77,813/yr., DOQ, plus full benefits
Duties: This position is responsible for the management, oversight and administration of contract services for major public works construction projects, including both pre-award and post-award contracts administration functions as well as for the management of vendors under contract. The incumbent will also serve as the technical resource to the Project Managers for construction, Professional Service Agreements and Interlocal Agreements and provide support and guidance in all functional areas of contract administration.
Credentials: The minimum education requirement is a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Construction Management or related field. Specialized training in contract administration and negotiation is required. Formal training and understanding of the principles of supervision and leadership is also required.
Previous job experience required is six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in construction contract administration, to include supervisory experience.
