Facility Security Officer

FACILITY SECURITY OFFICER - Port of Houston Authority. Salary: up to $81K (based on background/experience), Candidate must have a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in security related operations; two (2) years must be directly related to the Marine Transportation Security Act preferred. General knowledge on a range of issues such as security administration, relevant international maritime security laws, federal maritime security regulations, current security threat assessments, risk analysis methodology, inspections control procedures and conduction of audits.

Must be able to pass a criminal background check, physical examination and drug/alcohol screening test. Must be able to obtain a Transportation Identification Credential (TWIC) card within three (3) months of employment. Must have a valid driver's license. Must have intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite of applications. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, presentation skills.
