[Please see] The following announcement is regarding a new position opening in the FEMA Region X Disaster Operations Division as the RRCC Manager. The link and duties are below and the opening closes Friday, July 3rd. Please feel free to have any interested candidates reach out to me.

Primary Purpose: This position serves as RRCC Manager providing oversight of the Watch Teams as they monitor the readiness and preparedness of regional response teams and resources.

Specific Duties:
-Develops and implements initial incident actions plans.
-Initiates mission assignments to activate other Federal agencies.
-Activates appropriate emergency response teams.
-Drafts and distributes operational warnings and orders.
-Provides full supervisory responsibilities to Watch Teams, which include a Watch Officer, and assigned Watch Analysts.
-Assists in the development, preparation and implementation of Agency and Interagency tests, training and exercises, and manages Watch participation.
-Monitors emerging events and incidents and develops recommended response strategies.
-Researches and prepares reports on complex program or operational issues.
-Participates with senior level management officials to resolve issues that occur due to interaction or overlapping with other agency programs.
